Gold Soundz

The Gold Soundz have been rocking hearts and melting faces in the South Bay since 2011. Josh Brown, a guitar teacher at Dietz Brothers music school in Manhattan Beach, decided to show his students he'd put his money where his mouth is and take his skills to the stage. He recruited his brother, Matt Brown on drums, and his student James Heim on bass guitar. James brought his sister, singer Monica Heim. The fierce foursome quickly built up a killer crowd-pleasing repertoire of classic and old school rock including songs from The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Led Zeplin, Billy Idol, Tom Petty, The Beatles and many more. In 2013, Matt left to get his PhD so Josh went over to Coast Music Conservatory in Hermosa Beach where he enrolled drummer Katy Shea, formerly of the band Ladysugar. The Gold Soundz are known for their tight harmonies and the ability of all four band members to win over the crowd on lead vocals. Get ready to dance the night away with The Gold Soundz!
