Local Hip Hop Showcase

Let's party.

Nathan Haskill: Growing up in Los Angeles since the age of 4 and Redondo Beach most of his life, Nathan has been in love with hip-hop. Wether it was Run-DMC, The Fat boys or N. W. A. in the 80's or Dr. Dre ,Wu-Tang and Cypress Hill in the 90's. One thing has stood clear Nathan was hip-hop and hip-hop was Nathan. A student in the art of MC'ing since the age of 18, Nathan has blended his love of movies, comic's, 80's cartoons and wrestling into his own style of listening adventure. Every song has its own hand picked intro and outro that has the audience submersed and ready for the lyrical journey that is to come. A self proclaimed "Wordsmith" he feasts on the challenge of word play, metaphors, puns and obscure references that forces the listener to replay lines and often times google things to fully understand the cleverness of each track. Representing Los Angeles, the South Bay and more importantly real underground lyric heavy hip-hop, Nathan Haskill is attempting to make you open your mind instead of your wallet when it comes to song content and bring hip-hop to a better place then the monetary monotony that is todays quote un-quote "popular hip-hop". He released a mixtape in March entitled 'Shots From the J.W. Booth' and has performed show in and around the South Bay.
