Young Dubliners: RIYL: The Waterboys, The Pogues, The Tragically Hip and The Frames Irish-American rockers the Young Dubliners are psyched about the release of “Saints and Sinners” an all new collection of lively recordings inspired by their tireless love of the road and the trials and tribulations that the group has encountered over the years. The Young Dubliners consider themselves to be ambassadors of Celtic and American rock. The band members’ dual Irish and American heritage has always resulted in a distinctive and richly varied musical palette. “Young Dubliners… bread a sensual mix of traditional Irish folk music, hearty American rock and roll country, and universally appealing ballads that could win over the most wary of listeners.” – Pop Matters “Young Dubliners have an amazing pop sense based on the wealthy tradition of Irish music.” – Pollstar “Yong Dubliners…combine blistering rock and the Irish groove.” – All Music Guide “It’s hard… (to) capture the hellfire intensity and absorbing musical diversity of the Dubliners’ acclaimed live shows.” – Ink 19

Johnny Jump Up: Drinkin n jammin

Groovetrotters : Having started in the early 2000's as a Groovetrotters family fun weekend project it quickly became apparent that "the kids" had a bit more than just average talent and drive when it came to playing music. Once having gotten past the initial learning phase and the guys having picked their favorite instruments the Groovetrotters started composing mainly instrumental music. Weekend jam sessions outdoors under a palapa just yards away from the Pacific Ocean attracted quite a stir in the community and before long regular gigs became a normal part of life. Weddings, parties, restaurants among other venues. It soon was apparent that this whole project could become a very serious lifestyle. And this it has become. Full time musicians. Essentially of the music has one solid ingredient: FUNK! From Rock all the way to Jazz, Reggae and Blues there is a funky vibe that grabs your attention from the time the first note rings out all the way to the end of each song. Even though some of the Groovetrotters tunes are instrumental compositions, discovering his singing talent, their at the time 16 year old bass player decided not only to add vocals to his act, but try his hand at song writing as well. The rest of the crew joined the effort and currently they have a repertoire of 50+ original songs and counting
