Description: Come here The Originalites cover Sublime's Album 40 oz. to Freedom from Cover to Cover!!!
Whiskey Avengers: Presiding in the dormant pits of the San Francisco Bay Area, renegade Reggae and Rocksteady outfit the Whiskey Avengers are on the cusp of their third full length album ‘Dead Man Rockin.’ With only half the head count since the 2009 release ‘Wet and Wreckless’ they have once again flexed musical muscle by redefining themselves as king of the underdogs, this time by way of a power quartet. Staying true to their origins of traditional Jamaican style Ska and Rocksteady mixed with West-Coast Reggae, they have seamlessly infused a new blend of Rock, Soul and Folk Americana that lends itself to multiple generations of castaways and bad apples. They continue to shine a match light on the dark corners of clubs and city streets with fatalistic tales of doom, debauchery, tough love, and redemption set to memorable melodies that happily haunt all those who dare sing along. Entirely self-produced and recorded, this time they have teamed up with legendary studio engineer Michael Rosen to spit shine their sound creating a seemingly unstoppable independent musical force. The Whiskey Avengers continue to strong-arm one unsuspecting fan at a time with tantalizing true grit that defines the grassroots American voice.
Codi Jordan Band: The CJB is an energetic, addicting, and always fun Reggae Rock outfit from the greater Salt Lake City area of Utah. The Originalities: In 2008 Daniel Tello (Guitar), Peter Fontes (Drums), Tim Frankeny (Bass) started playing music together at the end of their senior year in high school (FVHS). Before that Peter and Daniel played guitar and drums together off and on, whenever they wanted to for fun. One year after in December, Tim, Peter, Daniel were playing together as a band where they met Mike Belk at AFRICAN CORNER in FV, CA. (Now in Costa mesa) Mike showed up with his sax and Peter called him over and we created some music for the first time ever with Mike.. We (Tim, Peter, Daniel) were blown away by the sax and asked Mike later that night if he could show up to some practices and play with us… and that’s how 3 became 4! Our music is best described as SKA/DUB/PUNK but we also incorporate Latin and psychedelic styles into our sound. We have become much tighter and powerful over the years as a band. We like to keep our minds open to many different styles of music and stay original. Our music has evolved with the addition of MIKE’s SAX and everyone’s influences mixing together and pouring out into our own original creations. Peter is influenced by PUNK music and SKA. Tim is influenced by Dub and Classic rock, Daniel is influenced by Classic Rock and Latin music. Mike is influenced by Classic rock, Jazz and Bosa Nova.Since then, The Originalites have played countless shows (3+ a week), including House of Blues(Anaheim and Los Angeles), The Coach House, Galaxy Theater, and many more.
